2007 CHARITY CUT-A-THON FOR BATTEN DISEASE - MIAMI, FLORIDA

Thanks to our Director of Inspiration Danny Aruj and his amazing team of volunteer Dreamworkers, our Cut-A-Thon for Batten Disease on November 11th was a great success!

It was a beautiful day for doing something beautiful.

From this event, we have been able to assist Batten Disease research to help find a cure.

Also, for The Spaide Family of Miami, we have paid to have the wheelchair lift for their van repaired, with a reduced rate from Barron Williams of Buddy's Sunset Mobility Center, 8415 S.W. 129th Terrace, Miami, FL 33156, 1-800-240-9246, to whom we are very grateful. (www.buddysunsetmobility.com)

We have also purchased a special hospital mattress for Erika at cost and with free delivery, thanks to the kindness of Rene Dujarric at Mattress Giant, 14101 S. Dixie Hwy., Miami, FL 33176, 305-251-4995. Thank you so much, Rene!

In addition, we are assisting with some rent payments so this family may continue to live near Erika's hospital.
