Dream One World...a nonprofit to change the world...one by one by one.

ANIMAL RESCUE

When you adopt a rescue, you help save two lives:

the one you bring home and the one who takes its place.

...

As DREAM ONE WORLD is not an organization directly rescuing animals at all times, we wanted to find a few that are, so that we could help fund their efforts.

We wanted them to be grass roots organizations that come

from the heart, just like us.

In the last few years we have been guided to work exclusively with three very special rescues...one for cats, one for dogs, and one for horses.  Read on to learn more...

Feline Rescue of Northern California, Inc., is dedicated to helping abandoned and needy cats and kittens, mainly in Sonoma County, CA.

They are a wonderful 501(c)(3) nonprofit and all-volunteer organization providing a "shelter without walls" and "animal control with a heart,"  and are based in an area with no other programs to help cats and kittens in need.

Pet cats, often not spayed or neutered, are abandoned with alarming frequency due, in growing part, to the declining economy and skyrocketing foreclosures and evictions.

There are no institutional services available for cats in need in their home base of Cloverdale/Geyserville - no shelter, no contract with Sonoma County for cats, and no local city services for injured or ill cats.

They also assist cats and kittens in desperate situations in Marin, Lake, and Mendocino counties when funding allows.

There is a very special no-kill shelter in the Mojave Desert - a major dumping ground for abandoned dogs - that always needs help raising funds, Rainbow Rescue

The task of saving as many as possible of the hundreds and hundreds of dogs dumped and abandoned in the desert each year is overwhelming.

Ann Walters, Founder and Director of the 501(c)(3) nonprofit  Rainbow Rescue, has personally rescued over 1600 dogs in the past ten years.

We know Ann well, and her devotion to this work is astounding.

Please visit the "Rainbow Rescue" page at left for more info about her loving organization.

The Sonoma County CHANGE Program was formed in 2007 to support Sonoma County Animal Care and Control in handling equine neglect, abuse, and cruelty cases.

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit, CHANGE is supported entirely by private funds, and is 100% volunteer operated.

CHANGE provides housing, transportation, veterinary care, training, rehabilitation, and adoption services to horses who enter the CHANGE Program via county animal services.

CHANGE also supports the District Attorney's office in prosecuting offenders, providing gratis expert witness testimony, as well as raising public awareness of these cases as they make their way through the legal system.

DREAM ONE WORLD is working with CHANGE co-founder Dr. Grant Miller to assist funding for this important work, and like all the people helping animals that we assist, he comes from a place of pure love and integrity towards saving horses in Sonoma County from abuse and neglect.

Along with financial donations, DREAM ONE WORLD offers a variety of other ways you may help our animal rescue work!

For example, we have partnered with Feed This, Inc! to raise funds and awareness through the sale of a variety of privately labelled DREAM ONE WORLD 100% organic pet treats!

Author Emily Scott Pottruck has also gifted us with an incredible opportunity to raise funds with the sale of her very special book, "Tails of Devotion."

Thanks also to you (and your pets) for helping!
