THE THREE BOOKS

From Kathy Chism, CED (Chief Executive Dreamer!)  "Below is the story of a remarkable gift which through your help will start the construction of our elementary school in Uganda for the children of parents that have died from AIDS or while on death row. 

It is also an amazing opportunity for you or someone you know to own a piece of American history...

Along with creating and running DREAM ONE WORLD, I am also a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist. 

I was fortunate to become friends with Joan Felt and her remarkable father Mark Felt ("Deep Throat" of Watergate) in 2006, when they both participated in a fundraising gala for DREAM ONE WORLD. 

In 1998, I became Mark's massage therapist until he gently passed away at age 95 in 2009. 

It was an honor to know Mark with his gentle smile, twinkly eyes, and consistent upbeat attitude no matter how much pain he might be suffering. 

It was also an honor to be present with him after he passed, to share that experience with his wonderful family, and to participate in his memorial service.

At that memorial service, I had the further honor of meeting Bob Woodward, Carl Bernstein, and Mark's lawyer and co-author of his last book, John O'Connor. 

At dinner the evening after that memorial in Santa Rosa, CA, those three men signed some books.

The books were signed solely for the Felt Family, for two family friends, and for two nonprofits - DREAM ONE WORLD, and Final Passages, the organization that coordinated Mark's funeral and memorial service.

With Joan's generous gift to us of these books, we will begin to realize our dream in Uganda..."

First, DREAM ONE WORLD has TWO copies of Mark Felt's "A G-Man's Life" for sale to raise funds to build the elementary school in Uganda for the orphans of AIDS and death row inmates.

As far as we all know, there are only seven of these books signed in this way in the world.  Three of those seven books may never be sold, as they are family heirlooms for the Felt family.  Only three will be sold for nonprofit fundraising, and two of those three are the ones DREAM ONE WORLD has for sale.  The seventh one is owned privately.

Second, DREAM ONE WORLD has ONE copy of Bob Woodward's book "The Secret Man" about Mark Felt, which includes a reporter's assessment by Carl Bernstein. 

This book may be even more valuable, as Mark's co-author and lawyer John O'Connor accidentally signed this one as well, even though he did not help write it.  Mr. Woodward does write about John in the book, as being Mark's and the Felt family's lawyer. 

As far as we know, there are only seven of these books signed this way in the world as well, with four of them staying in the Felt family, two for nonprofit sales of which DREAM ONE WORLD has one, and one owned privately. 

See the red "F" that looks like a sword on the front cover?  That was Mark's secret signature when he was Deep Throat...so he signed all these books before he passed not only with his signature, but with his secret "F" signature as well! 

Even selling just one of these books will really get our first building at the school in Uganda started, the library, which we are naming WISDOM.  

You will also get your name and country etched into one of the first foundation blocks of the building.
